On November 19th, 2014 International (Dongguan) Metal Casting Show was held at Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Houjie town, which attracted more than 300 well-known companies attending the show. As one of exhibitors, Ka Shui had presented lots of our latest R&D achievements which covered the field of 3C, household, automobile, etc. The biggest highlight was our newly produced Magnesium Military Laptop Casing, which not only attracted lots of visitors’ interest and attention, but also won the Merit Award in the Best Casting Competition mainly due to its complicated casting technique and production difficulty. The award was the recognition for Ka Shui’s continuous efforts in exploring magnesium alloy application in the die casting area. Following the rapid demand of 3C products and lightweight automobile market trend, R&D work in magnesium alloy has become an important development trend for die casting industry. Ka Shui has started the research work in magnesium alloy since 1998. With more than 16 years’ exploration and R&D work, we have already made a great progress in this area. In the future road of corporation development, we will continue to strengthen our R&D effort to meet the market needs, strive for more R&D achievements as well as endeavor to stand in the forefront of the industry.
