On 18th Dec, 2011, 「the 8th Council Inauguration Cum the Banquet of 14th Anniversary of FITMI」was held in Wan Chai Exhibition Centre. Mr. Yuenfat Lee, the chairman of Ka Shui Group took the chairman post of the 8th (2011-2013) council officially by accepting the appointment certificate from Mr. Yisheng Yang, the vice minister of Financial Department of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Besides, 2 FITMI awards for 「Technology Innovation」and「New Generation」were issued to praise the contribution and achievement of elites in the industry.

During the inauguration, Mr. Yuenfat Lee pointed out 3 developing goals. Firstly, to vigorously promote the application of innovative technology and nano technology, and upgrade product competitiveness especially on materials and products certification, Secondly, to remind the manufacturing industry of solidarity spirit to carry out R&D project and discuss the affluence of technology development to manufacturing, Thirdly, to encourage the new generation to devote in manufacturing industry and take the businesses from the old generation.
