On 18th Jul, 2011, the twelfth meeting of the seventh council & the eighth council president election of the Federation of Hong Kong Machinery and Metal Industries was held. Mr.Yuen Fat Lee, the chairman of Ka Shui Group, was selected as the eighth (2011-2013) council president with a consensus voting.

As the bridge between industries and governments, and domestic and oversea organizations, the Federation of Hong Kong Innovative Technology and Manufacturing industries promotes their communications and reflects industrial suggestions. It keeps close contact with different departments of Hong Kong industry, assist governments in industrial policy. By agglomerating the uniting strength between industries, getting governmental attention and assistance and developing market, R&D and technology, the Federation aims to upgrade its position in HK industry and international trade and stride to a course with higher quality, value-added and productivity.
