On December 27th of 2020, Mr. Wang Guozhong, the Deputy Mayor of Yulin and Chairman of Yulin Energy Group, Mr. Ma Shunkuan, the Vice Chairman of Yulin Energy Group and other officials visited Ka Shui Group to know more about our recent development in magnesium industry.

Accompanied by Mr. Lee Yuen Fat, the Chairman of Ka Shui Group, Mr. Wang Guozhong, the Deputy Mayor of Yulin and the Chairman of Yulin Energy Group visited our magnesium die casting workshop, 4000-tons large-scale die casting production lines, spraying workshop, magnesium automated polishing workshop, mould fabrication workshop, Ka Shui Industry and Culture Centre, Smart Foundry Light Alloy Innovation Center and Testing and Certification Center. Mr. Lee Yuen Fat introduced the development of Ka Shui in magnesium industry to Mr. Wang Guozhong in details. As early as 1998, Ka Shui Group has started the research and development of magnesium alloy die casting technology and became the first enterprise engaged in mass production of magnesium alloy die casting in Hong Kong. Ka Shui is still striving to further develop the industry with benefits and better technology of magnesium. In 2018, the Group and Fellow Pan Fusheng of Chongqing University established a workstation together at Ka Shui Technology Park in Daya Bay, Huizhou. In 2020, Ka Shui has started an exchange platform with Fellow Ding Wenjiang of Shanghai Jiao Ton University and his teams about the material and technology of Light Alloy Precision Forming National Engineering Research Center. As the magnesium alloy die casting industry leader, Ka Shui Group has strived to promote the application of magnesium alloy to other industries which require more lightweight, such as vehicles, construction, 3C products and others. Meanwhile, the Group has also proactively developed magnesium alloy, magnesium composite material and other new materials. The high thermal conductivity magnesium alloy has been successfully applied to the notebook casings and other electronic products to improve the heat dissipation efficiency.

After the visit, Mr. Wang Guozhong, the Deputy Mayor of Yulin and Chairman of Yulin Energy Group and his team and Mr Lee Yuen Fat, the Chairman of Ka Shui Group and the management held a meeting. During the briefing session, Mr. Wang Guozhong has well recognized for the leadership and innovative R&D of Ka Shui Group in the magnesium alloy industry. Both parties further discussed cooperation opportunities in magnesium industry development aiming to promote magnesium alloy in lightweight application together.
