Ka Shui Group was awarded The HKIE 50th Anniversary Legacy Award – Merit in Industrial Category

The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (“HKIE”) celebrated its 50th anniversary milestone in 2025. On 3rd April, 2025, HKIE hosted a Grand 50th Annual Dinner to celebrate this historic achievement. It was honored to invite Mr. John K C Lee , GBM, SBS, PDSM, PMSM, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Mr. Wu Xiuzhang, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China; Mr. Ye Shuiqiu, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Educational, Scientific and Technological Affairs of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR; Mr. Bao Haibin, Counsellor of The Commissioner’s Office of China’s Foreign Ministry in the HKSAR; along with many senior officials of the HKSAR to the dinner. Over 1,800 distinguished guests, including local and international leaders, representatives from professional organizations and industry elites, gathered to witness this significant moment. Meanwhile, Ka Shui Group’s Magnesium Alloys applications was awarded with merit‌ in the ‌Industrial Category‌ of the "Legacy Award" during the HKIE’s 50th anniversary celebrations, further underscoring its exceptional accomplishment in the engineering sector. This honor not only recognizes Ka Shui Group’s ‌technical strength but also pays tribute to HKIE for its 50-year dedication to advancing engineering innovation and progress.

Mr. Ji Yuefei, the Deputy Mayor of Yulin City and Party Secretary of Jiaxian County and His Team Visited Ka Shui for Guidance

On 10th April, 2025, Mr. Ji Yuefei, being the Deputy Mayor of Yulin City and Party Secretary of Jiaxian County, and his team visited Ka Shui Group to understand the recent development in Ka Shui Group's magnesium alloy business. Accompanied by Mr. Wong Wing Chuen, the Vice Chairman of Ka Shui Group, Mr. Ji Yuefei and his team visited our New Energy Vehicle Auto-parts Showroom, Large-scale Die Casting Shop floor and Magnesium Alloy Die Casting Shop floor etc. Mr. Ji Yuefei affirmed our leading position and innovative R&D achievements in the magnesium alloy industry. Afterwards, they had a discussion with Ka Shui’s management team to understand the issues and difficulties we are facing in Yulin projects and provided some valuable suggestions and solutions. We highly appreciate Mr. Ji Yuefei’s visit. We believe that with the support of Yulin Government leaders, Ka Shui Group’s layout of the magnesium alloy industry chain in Yulin will enter high-speed development. We will have a closer cooperation with the largest magnesium production base in China, which can further provide higher quality lightweight magnesium alloy products to our customers.

Ka Shui Group won 2025 Hong Kong Innovation & Invention Grand Award and Innovation Excellence Award

The 2025 Greater Bay Area International Innovation and Technology Cooperation Forum along with Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Award Ceremony and Exhibition took place in Hong Kong from March 17 to 18, 2025. Ka Shui International Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 822) ("Ka Shui Group") was awarded the 2025 Hong Kong Innovation & Invention Grand Award and Innovation Excellence Award for breakthrough advancements in magnesium alloy technology, resolving two long-standing industry challenges: surface corrosion and structural weakness. Through its self-developed high-performance lightweight alloy precision casting technology and innovative surface treatment process, Ka Shui Group has significantly enhanced the corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and stability of magnesium alloy, enabling them to maintain superior performance under harsh environments. This innovative technology has been successfully applied in multiple industries including the low-altitude economy (drones and eVTOL), lightweight electric vehicles and 3C electronics products.
