The Opening Ceremony of the National Intelligent Foundry Industry Light Alloy Innovation Center was held in Daya Bay, Huizhou
The opening ceremony of the National Intelligent Foundry Industry Light Alloy Innovation Center, a joint venture company of Ka Shui Group and Kocel Group, was held at Ka Shui Science and Technology Park in Daya Bay, Huizhou, Guangdong on Dec 8th, 2018.
Mr. Zhang Libo, President of China Foundry Association, Mr. Huang Zhijun, member of the Standing Committee of Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone in Huizhou, Mr. Wang Xiqing, Vice Director of the Science and Technology Office of Huizhou, Mr. Tsoi Tsz Fong, President of Hong Kong Foundry Association, Mr. Zhang Guoguang, Chairman of China Foundry Association Die Casting Branch, Mr. Lee Yuen Fat, Chairman of Ka Shui Group, Mr. Peng Fan, Chairman of the National Intelligent Foundry Industry Innovation Center, Mr. Yang Jun, General Manager of the National Intelligent Foundry Industry Innovation Center and representatives of related industry associations, enterprises and media jointly attended the ceremony.

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhang Libo, Mr. Huang Zhijun, Mr. Tsoi Tsz Fong and other guests started the ceremony for the Light Alloy Innovation Center. Mr. Lee Yuen Fat and Mr. Peng Fan unveiled the plaque of the Light Alloy Innovation Center. Our VIP guests delivered brilliant speeches and expressed high expectations towards the development of the Light Alloy Innovation Center. Mr. Peng Fan emphasized that the Light Alloy Center would strictly implement the requirements of the National Development and Reform Commission, and strongly promote the transformation and upgrade of the light alloy industry in Pearl River Delta region. Mr. Lee Yuen Fat expressed that Ka Shui Group would provide technology development and commercialization support to the Light Alloy Innovation Center in order to make it to become an international light alloy industry innovation platform. Mr. Zhang Libo, the leader of die-casting industry, pointed out his expectations and mission of the Light Alloy Innovation Centre. In addition, he encouraged the Light Alloy center to exert its leading role to demonstrate and drive the industry growth. Mr. Huang Zhijun and Mr. Wang Xiqing welcomed the establishment of the Light Alloy Center in Daya Bay with high expectations for its future development.

At the last session, accompanied by Mr. Yang Jun, General Manager of the National Intelligent Foundry Industry Innovation Center, all guests visited the Light Alloy Center including Operations Center, Startup Hub, Sand 3D Print Workshop, Metal 3D Print and FDM Mold Workshop. Mr. Yang also shared the current construction progress and future development plan of the Light Alloy Center with the guests. Meanwhile, they visited Ka Shui Central Laboratory and Ka Shui intelligent manufacturing demonstration plant etc.

Introduction of Light Alloy Innovation Center
The National Intelligent Foundry Industry Innovation Center was founded in Yinchuan, Ningxia on May 19th, 2017.The Center will set up the promotion model of “standard and demonstration” in order to establish several sub-centers in the industrial concentration area, and build up several digital intelligent demonstration factories and demonstration parks.
The Light Alloy Innovation Center will set up Branch of Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute, Light Alloy New Material R&D Center, Terminal Products R&D Center, Startup Hub, Shared Industrial Cloud and Remote Operations & Maintenance Center, Industrial Exhibition Service, Shared Colleges etc. The Center will gather the industry related resources through promotion of the integration and application of intelligent equipment technology and industry such as big data analysis of light alloy, green manufacturing, new materials, 3D printing, robots, etc. It will also serve the light alloy manufacturing industry and promote its development towards high-end, green, intelligent and service-oriented industries.
The Light Alloy Innovation Center is located in the Pearl River Delta area, adhering to the development concept of "Integration of Cross-Border, Co-construction and Sharing, Linking Each Party, Service Industry", will promote the upstream and downstream development of the industrial chain. Besides, the center will enhance the matching capacity of regional manufacturing industry and promote the development of new materials and transformation and upgrading of industry.
