Ka Shui Group’s Subsidiaries Participated in Revising Two National Standards for Magnesium Alloy Wheels, Driving High-Quality Development in the Industry

ARTICLE OF 2025-11-13
Recently, the subsidiaries of Ka Shui International Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 00822.HK) (“Ka Shui Group”) , namely Ka Yi Technology (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. and Kamay New Material Technology (Yulin) Company Limited, as the contributing units, took part in the amendment of the two national standards,GB/T 26649-2025 “Magnesium Alloy Castings for Automobile Wheels” and GB/T 26650-2025 “Magnesium Alloy Castings for Motorcycle and Electric Bicycle Wheels.” These two standards were officially published on 29th August 2025, and will take effect from 1st March 2026.

As global automobile, motorcycle, and electric bicycle industries face increasing demands on lightweight, energy-efficient with high-performance designs, magnesium alloy—known for its low density, high specific strength, and excellent cushioning against vibrations—has become one of the ideal materials for achieving lightweight solutions. The revised GB/T 26649-2025 and GB/T 26650-2025 standards closely align with current technological trends and application needs of the industry, introducing more scientific and stringent specifications for key technical indicators such as material, mechanical performance, dimensional tolerances, and non-destructive testing of magnesium alloy wheel castings. These updates will significantly promote quality improvement and market expansion for magnesium alloy wheel products.

Ka Shui Group has consistently committed to innovation and development of magnesium alloy materials, focusing on the research and development together with the manufacturing of high-performance magnesium alloy new materials and lightweight processing products. Participating in the revision of these two national standards not only reflects the industry’s recognition of Ka Shui Group’s technical strength and market position, but also demonstrates Ka Shui Group’s determination to fulfill corporate social responsibility and drive technological progress across the industry.
